Brakes / NEW Celica BBK - 6 piston goodness!« Last post by cuttyman9 on May 13, 2024, 12:25:42 PM »Been working on something like this, of course it comes when PayPal screws me.
90-93 Celica bbk. Will work on 4/5/6/7g, Corolla, matrix with adjustments in spacing similar to the other Celica bbk. You'll need: ——————CALIPERS————— 02-10 VW Toureg 03-10 Porsche Cayenne 05-15 Audi Q7 (I have found car-part.com is the cheapest place to search, its an annoying website but yields the cheapest prices outside of local junkyards) The calipers should say 17ZL and 17ZR (it’s come to my attention most parts stores show the rotor size, 330mm instead of 17z or 18z) PNs 20.8432.06 and 20.8432.05 (see pictures) (use these numbers to confirm, there are many calipers that look similar but wont work) —————-HARDWARE—————- 4x M12-1.75x25 (McmasterCarr.com PN 98093A746) (shave to clear rotor/flush with the bracket) 4x Hex M16-1.5x50 caliper bolts (You can’t reuse the hardware from Cayenne/Toureg/Q7, they are too short) (Mcmastercarr.com PN 91052A122 or equivalent) ———————-ROTORS—————- 2x 2006-2020 is350 rotor-front iron brake rotor (334x30mm) They are 5x114.3, Redrilling the rotor is required if you are retaining 5x100. Hub rings are also required to match the rotor to the smaller hub center ————————extras——————— Stock brake lines can be used although I would recommend getting stainless braided lines as it improves feel vastly. ***18z calipers WILL NOT WORK*** If you purchased calipers bare the hardware to mount the pads can be had here: https://audibbkparts.bigcartel.com/product/brembo-17z-18z-caliper-hardware-kit 73

Definitely needs a small spacer though, but otherwise it’s good. 74

General Discussion / ***If you’re here looking for bbk’s or parts***« Last post by cuttyman9 on May 06, 2024, 08:51:22 AM »Unfortunately due to facebook, instagram and PayPal hitting me all at once I’m falling back to email as my main contact: firebirdxpress@yahoo.com for any of the parts I have made or current make.
Shoot me an email for more info. I’m stuck with just friends and family or Zelle as PayPal holds everything for 7-21 days AFTER ITS DELIVERED no matter what and won’t tell me why or how to fix it. If you’re not comfortable I’m sorry, I am working to find an alternative that offers you some confidence if you haven’t dealt with me before. Discord channel: https://discord.gg/X8zVWSdf 80
