Title: Replacing double-DIN head unit in 1990/1991 5GC with System 10

So the wiring harnesses for the 90/91 and 92/93 model years are different for the System 10 audio set-up (this applies to Canada and USA market, not sure about Europe/Asia). Five years ago I struggled to install my new single-DIN head unit in my 1991 GT-S, and you can find the details here:

If you have any questions, feel free to ask. The Metra pigtail adapter is a great idea but if for some reason it's not an option for you then the post above should alleviate some of the wiring colour mysteries...
