didnt know whether to post in suspension or wheels but i have a 92 gt-s on 17 inch vw golf santa monicas. running a 225 tire on shitty ass cut springs from the previous owner. what suspension and wheel set up would look good on a 92 widebody?
i want something to fill the wheel gap in the wells. i also dont mind using spacers thanks for the help! ;D ;D ;D

Coilovers are the best option as they offer the best of both worlds.
Megan racing EZ street's are inexpensive at 700ish a set.
As for wheels it kinda depends on how much you want to modify your car.
I run 18x9.5 all around but not only do I have a hub swap but I run very heavily clearanced wheel wells.
Usually what's ideal is 17x8 +30 or 17x9 +35 with a 235/40 all around.
The issue will be that the back will want more offset while the fromt is perfect so your options are to run staggered wheels, run a spacer, or buy wheels with two offsets.
It's far easier to find wheels for 5x114.3 so see the hub swap thread.
