I am looking into upgrading or replacing the shifter bushings in a 90 Celica ST I have seen the kits they make for newer cars but they all say not compatible with this model. Has anyone had any experience with making an upgrade kit from aluminum stock or bearings that fit in the shifter linkages? If so what was the bearing number or diameter that is needed to make them.

If you can get me an end with the factory bushing in it I can make some and offer them to people.

I think Lou from BRD did that one. Dont quote me on that.
