Is250/IS350 rear bbk

2006-2013 IS250 and IS350 rear 4 piston bbk!

Also fits 2006-2011 GS300 should also fit GS350, GS430, GS450h and GS460

You'll need:

02-10 VW Toureg (rear calipers)
03-10 Porsche Cayenne (rear calipers)
05-15 Audi Q7 (rear calipers)

(I have found car-part.com is the cheapest place to search, its an annoying website but yields the cheapest prices outside of local junkyards)

4x hex M10-1.5x30

2x hex M14-1.5x30 (35mm long will work as well)
(or reuse the hardware from Cayenne/Toureg/Q7, Even though they are a bit long.)

———————-ROTORS—————-

2x 2008-2014 ISF rear brake rotor  PN PRT6106


——brake lines——
Stock brake lines can be used although I would recommend getting stainless braided lines as it improves feel vastly.  (testing soon)

——-Tools———
1x m16-1.5 tap



NOTE: Calipers will need to be modified but only slightly.
Depending on brand of pads clearancing the of weights might be needed. (see later posts)
I found this tool works very well for this little bit of clearancing and is pretty damn cheap!

Their sanding belts are kinda shitty so prep for using a few.


**You will remove the brake line cover and the rubber isolator and bend the brake line up and away from the rotor area.**

**the brake lines and bleeders might need to be flipped, the small pistons need to come first in the rotation of the rotor**

This shows the one set of bolts (ignore my nut spacers lol)

All the hardware, the left most bolt is reversed and threaded into the caliper- the bolt is the larger m16

This bolt is installed with the caliper and bracket off.
Then the bracket is slid over the rotor with the caliper and bolted to the knuckle.

This should be pretty easy to tap, the aluminum on the calipers is very nice stuff and taps super easy.
All that needs to be done is make sure it’s straight.
